Amerika Birleşik Devletleri içinde İsrail’e sempatinin azaldığı, CIA’nın, Amerika ve İsrail ittifakını incelemeye aldığı, yapılan incelemede İsrail’in Amerika’nın içinde kalıcı ve geri dönülemez bir yer edinmeye ve İsrail’in Amerika’nın başına geçecek yeni yöneticilerin ittifakı daha düşük seviyeyi geçirmesinin engellemeye çalıştığı cnn’de bildiriliyor. IS US SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL DECLINING? 2
It is reported on CNN that sympathy for Israel in the United States is declining and that the CIA has placed the U.S.–Israel alliance under review. The review indicates that Israel is attempting to secure a permanent and irreversible position within the United States to prevent future American leaders from downgrading the alliance. In a speech, Trump stated, “Without the U.S. and without me—Obama was the exact opposite of me—you would have had nothing. Israel would 100% have been completely wiped off the face of the earth and erased from the map, and every smart person in Israel knows this.” Public support for Israel in the United States is steadily decreasing, especially after the Gaza massacres. The CIA evaluated that Israel has noticed this drop in support, which has sparked a sense of panic. The decline in public backing, disagreements between the U.S. and Israel over a potential war with Iran, and the impression that the U.S.–Israel alliance could one day collapse have driven Israeli officials to take action. According to the intelligence assessment, a strategy is being pursued to permanently integrate Israel into America’s military, intelligence, and defense establishment in a way that future U.S. administrations will find difficult to reverse. To achieve this, efforts are being made to expand intelligence cooperation with the U.S., plans are underway to establish a permanent U.S. base on Israeli territory, and targets have been set for long-term political and financial backing. Furthermore, close relationships are being sought with prominent figures in the U.S. technology sector, along with efforts to integrate Israeli intelligence technology and weaponry into the U.S. military.
Our view is that as long as Israel retains its geographical position and wealth, and as long as the U.S. possesses the power to protect them, this relationship will not end; it will simply experience ups and downs driven by mutual interests. Nevertheless, because Jews religious-wise regard themselves as superior to all other humans—and consequently to Americans—there may always be a degree of antipathy between them and U.S. citizens. Americans may not want to be complicit in all of Israel’s actions toward its neighbors. For this reason, U.S. support for Israel may diminish, yet due to their mutual benefit and reliance on one another, their close ties will likely continue in a controlled manner.
