İSRAİL SOYKIRIM ÖNERİSİ YERİNE NE YAPMALIDIR?
İsrail kabinesi 1915 olaylarını “soykırım” olarak tanıma önerisinde bulundu. İsrailliler, Osmanlı ile Ermeniler arasında oluşan bu olayların soykırım olmadığını, karşılıklı münferit olaylar olduğunu ve bu olaylar sırasında Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin henüz kurulmadığını ve bu konudan Türkiyenin sorumlu tutulamayacağını bilecek kadar, araştırma, tarihi bilgi, öngörü ve akla sahiptir. Öyle ise İsrail’in amacı soykırımı tanımak kozu ile Türkiye’ye istediğini yaptırmak olabilir. Halbuki İsrail 1915 olaylarını soykırım olarak tanır ise kendilerinin tarihine, araştırmasız, tarihe dayanmayan, haksız, adaletsiz ve yanlış karar alma lekesi bulaştırmış olacaklarını bilecek kadar bilinçlidir. İsrail yönetimine tavsiyemiz, Türkiye ile ilişkilerini tehdit taktiği ile değil birbirimize iyilik yaparak, karşılıklı sevginin olduğu daha güzel ve sağlam bir hale getirmek gayretinde olmalarıdır.

WHAT SHOULD ISRAEL DO INSTEAD OF PROPOSING GENOCIDE?
The Israeli cabinet has proposed recognizing the 1915 events as “genocide.” Israelis possess sufficient research, historical knowledge, foresight, and reason to understand that these events between the Ottomans and Armenians were not genocide, but isolated incidents, and that the Republic of Turkey had not yet been established at the time, and therefore Türkiye cannot be held responsible. Therefore, Israel’s aim might be to use the recognition of genocide as leverage to force Turkey to do whatever it wants. However, Israel is conscious enough to know that recognizing the 1915 events as genocide would stain its own history with an unresearched, historically unfounded, unjust, and erroneous decision. Our advice to the Israeli administration is to strive to strengthen its relations with Turkey not through threats, but through mutual kindness and affection. With respect and love.
