Sayın müminler, Gece namazı farzdır ve 2 rekattır, gece 0 ile 1 arasında kılınır. Farz namazlar günde 6 vakit ve toplam 19 rekattır. Rekatların 19’u bulması doğruluğunun ilahi imzasıdır. Ayette sana özel dendiği için bugüne kadar gece namazının peygambere özel olduğu sanılmıştır, halbuki yüksek makama ulaştıran özel bir namaz olduğu kastedilmiştir. Peygamber zaten en yüksek makamdadır, makamın yükselmesi müminlerin ihtiyacıdır.

Dear believers, the Night Prayer is obligatory and consists of 2 rakats, performed between 0 AM and 1 AM. The obligatory prayers are 6 times a day, totaling 19 rakats. The fact that the rakats reach 19 is a divine confirmation of its validity. Because the verse mentions “special to you,” it has been mistakenly believed that the Night Prayer was exclusive to the Prophet, whereas it actually refers to a special prayer that elevates one to a high rank. The Prophet already holds the highest rank; elevating that rank is a need for all believers.
