Maide 5 Suresi
89 – Allah sizi, kasıtsız olarak yaptığınız yeminlerinizden sorumlu tutmaz. Fakat kasıtlı yaptığınız yeminlerinizden sizi sorumlu tutar. Bozulan yeminin keffareti, ailenize yedirdiğinizin ortalamasından on yoksulu yedirmek veya giydirmek yahut da bir köle azad etmektir. Verecek bir şey bulamayan kimse için de üç gün oruç tutmaktır. İşte yemin ettiğiniz zaman yeminlerinizi bozmanın cezası budur. Yeminlerinizi koruyun. İşte Allah âyetlerini size böyle açıklar ki, şükredesiniz.

5 The Maide

89. Allah will not call you to account for what is your unintentional oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths. Penance for to disrupted oath, feed ten poor persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fasting for three days. That is the expiation for when you distruped your oath. But protect your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.
