Namaz kılmamanın cezası varmı yokmu anlamak için Kurandaki ayetlere bakalım.
2/ Bakara / 277. İman edip iyi işler yapan ve namaz kılıp, zekat verenlerin, Rabblerinin yanında, şüphesiz kendilerine ait mükafatları vardır. Onlara bir korku yoktur ve hiç üzülmeyeceklerdir.
4 / Nisa / 162. Fakat içlerinden ilimde derinleşmiş olanlar ve inananlar, senden önce indirilenle birlikte sana indirilene de iman ediyorlar. Özellikle namaza devam edenlerle zekat verenler, Allah’a ve ahiret gününe inananlar yok mu, işte onlara yarın büyük bir mükafat vereceğiz.
29 / Ankebut / 45. Sana vahyedilen Kitabı güzel güzel oku ve namazı kıl! Muhakkak doğru namaz çirkinliklerden ve kötülüklerden alıkoyar. Muhakkak Allah’ı anmak en büyük iştir ve Allah, her ne işlerseniz bilir.
9 / Tevbe / 71. Erkek ve dişi bütün inananlar, birbirlerinin dostudurlar; iyiliği emreder, kötülükten alıkoyarlar; namazı dürüst kılar, zekatı verirler; Allah’a ve peygamberine itaat ederler. İşte bunları, Allah yarın rahmeti ile bağışlayacaktır. Çünkü Allah, güçlüdür, hikmet sahibidir.
* Ayetlerden anlaşılan. Namaz kılmak insanları kötülüklerden ve çirkinliklerden korur. Namaz insanları doğru yola ulaştırır. Namaz insanların cennete gitmesini sağlar.
9 / Tevbe / 54. Onların verdiklerinin kabul edilmesine engel olan, yalnızca Allah’a ve Peygamberine küfretmeleri, namaza ancak üşenerek gelmeleri ve verdiklerini de ancak istemeyerek vermeleridir.
* Ayetten anladığımız, üşengeçlik ederek ve istemeden kılınan namazın insanlara faydası yoktur.

* Ayetten anlaşılan. Namaz kılmayanlar kendilerini koruyamamıştır. Namazın faydalarından yararlanamamıştırlar. Dünya hayatında şeytan onları kandırabilmiş ve hatalara sürükletmiştir. maalesef ahirette cehenneme gitmek zorunda kalmışlardır.
2 / Bakara / 62. Şüphe yok ki, iman edenler, yahudiler, hıristiyanlar ve Sabiiler; bunlardan her kim Allah’a ve ahiret gününe gerçekten iman eder ve iyi bir amel işlerse, elbette bunların Rableri yanında mükafatları vardır. Bunlara bir korku yoktur ve bunlar mahzun da olmayacaklardır.
5 / Maide / 69. Şüphe yok ki, iman edenler, yahudiler, sabiiler ve hıristiyanlar her kim Allah’a ve ahiret gününe iman edip de dürüstçe çalışırsa, artık onlara korku yoktur ve onlar üzülecek de değillerdir.
* Ayetlerden anlaşılan namaz kılmayanlarda Allaha ve ahiret gününe inanıyorlarsa ve iyi işler yapıyorsa cennete gidebilmektedirler.
* Tüm ayetlerden toplamından öğrendiğimiz namaz kılmayana ceza verilmemektedir, namaz kılmayanlarda cennete gidebilmektedir. Fakat namaz kılmayanların kendilerini kötülüklerden koruyamama ihtimali vardır. namazın insanları koruma özelliği vardır. doğru namaz kılanlar cennete gitmekle müjdelenmektedir. Namaz kılmayanların ise cennete gidebilme garantisi yoktur.

Let’s look at the verses in the Qur’an to understand whether there is a penalty for not praying.
2 / Bakara /277. Those who believe and do good deeds, and establish prayer and give alms, have their own reward with their Lord. There is no fear for them and they will not grieve at all.
4 / Nisa / 162. But those among them who are deeply rooted in knowledge and those who believe believe in what was revealed to you along with what was revealed before you. Especially those who continue to pray and give zakat, and those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, we will give them a great reward tomorrow.
29 / Ankebut / 45. Read the Book that has been revealed to you well and perform the prayer! Surely, the right prayer prevents ugliness and evil. Surely the remembrance of Allah is the greatest deed, and Allah knows what you do.
9 / Tevbe /71. All believers, male and female, are friends of one another; they enjoin good and forbid evil; they make the prayer honest and give the zakat; They obey Allah and his prophet. These are the things that Allah will forgive tomorrow with his mercy. Because Allah is strong and wise.
* It is clear from the verses. Praying protects people from evil and ugliness. Prayer leads people to the right path. Prayer allows people to go to heaven.
9 / Tevbe / 54. What prevents them from being accepted is only their blasphemy against Allah and His Messenger, their laziness in prayer, and their unwillingness to give what they give.
* As we understand from the verse, prayers performed lazily and unwillingly are of no use to people.
74 / Müddesir 40. They are in the Paradise; they keep asking 41. offenders; 42. “What got you into Sekar?” saying; 43. (They) say: “We were not of those who prayed, 44. We would not feed the poor,
* Clearly from the verse. Those who did not pray could not protect themselves. They could not benefit from the benefits of prayer. In the life of this world, the devil was able to deceive them and lead them to mistakes. Unfortunately, they had to go to hell in the hereafter.
2 / Bakara / 62. There is no doubt that believers, Jews, Christians and Sabians; And whoever of them truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, they will certainly have their reward with their Lord. There is no fear for them, and they will not grieve.
5 / Maide / 69. Surely the believers, the Jews, the Sabians, and the Christians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and works honestly, will have no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
* It is understood from the verses that those who do not pray can go to Paradise if they believe in Allah and the Last Day and do good deeds.
* What we learn from the sum of all the verses is that those who do not pray are not punished, and those who do not pray can go to heaven. However, there is a possibility that those who do not pray will not be able to protect themselves from evil. Prayer has the ability to protect people. Those who pray correctly are given the glad tidings of going to Paradise. There is no guarantee of going to heaven for those who do not pray.
